In a recent trend, our existing clients would ask us if there
was such a detail and if we could perform it before they took
delivery of their new car. This inspired us to offer our New-Car
Detail Package.
From the factory, your new car has not been treated or protected
inside and out. This will be the foundation for the future appearance
of your new acquisition.
Upon delivery or acquisition of your new car, you can arrange
for our staff to prepare the car before you take full delivery.
The benefits are greater than having a car look better-than-show-room
condition. Aside from the obvious benefits of a detail that
will enhance the beauty of the car inside and out, our meticulous
staff will also find any flaws, damage, or unforeseen problems
that can arise that would be overlooked by you or your sales
representative. We are basically an ambassador to you and the
dealership. In our experience, the dealership is very responsive
and will remedy any problems prior to your purchase.
A condensed description of the New-Car process is as
follows:
- Take delivery of your new car.
- Photograph vehicle as-is (condition prior to any work).
- Remove all plastics from interior and exterior; remove
any stickers and plastic emblems from windows, dash, exterior,
etc.; remove seat covers; neatly pack all the above mentioned
for your reference.
- Review interior and make note of any damage, missing parts,
etc.
- Vacuum interior, remove any fingerprinting, scuff marks,
etc. from interior using an interior cleaner. At this point,
we will also install all carpets and floor mats that were
bundled at the factory.
- Condition all leather, plastic, vinyl, etc. surfaces using
premier conditioners.
- Perform final inspection of the interior for completeness.
- Review exterior for damage, missing parts, etc.
- Wash wheels and finish with non-caustic, acid-free, chlorine-free,
citric oil-based cleaner designed to safely remove cosmoline,
paraffin, oil, and grease.
- Use a clay-like product to remove embedded contaminants
from shipping and being on the dealer lot are removed, exposing
the true, clean, and bare paint
- Apply a correction polish to remove
car wash swirls, towel marks, and medium to heavy swirls caused
from hi-speed buffing.
- Apply a glaze to yield extreme durability and
deep gloss.
- Finalize the polish process with Swissvax wax of your choice to provide
the perfect shine and protect against harmful elements.
- Wax wheels using a polymer-based sealant which removes
any cosmoline and protects against brake dust adhesion to
the wheels.

satin sheen for up to three weeks
- Polish windows are after being properly prepped during
the washing process.
- Provide keys and list of anything needing repair/replacement/etc.
to your sales representative.
- Post high definition digital pictures of your vehicle’s
before and after condition are put on the media of you choice.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Will the work you do void any paint warranty or dealer
prep work?
Our New-Car Detail Package will provide the foundation that
is recommended in your owner’s manual. Since we don’t
use any petrochemicals, nothing harmful is being introduced
to the car's interior or exterior finish. As for post-factory
prep work, we don’t recommend any dealer application of
“proprietary” sealants or polymers as this will
jeopardize vehicle appearance and may introduce swirls, scratches,
etc. during the application process.
Will the new-car detail remove my “new-car”
smell?
Depending on the package, no. We’ve had clients that
have told us their car still smells new almost a year after
their purchase. Your driving, lifestyle, and care will determine
the longevity of the new-car smell.
Why should a perfectly new car be treated?
Just like your body, your car needs care. If you have dry skin,
you usually put on lotion. The manufacturer does not have a
detailing department on the assembly line. They cannot devote
the manpower and labor needed to treat the interior and exterior
surfaces of the car. Your paint, for example, is set for deterioration
the moment it left the paint line/booth of the factory. The
outdoor elements, shipping, dealer prep, etc. only add to the
damage. Getting it detailed properly using organic products
will help diminish Mother Nature’s fury, the car wash,
or lack of wash.
About how much time does a new-car detail take?
The entire process takes between 3 to 5 hours to complete.
On more demanding details of ultra-sport and luxury cars, a
few days may be required.
Do you apply polish and wax using a machine? I’ve
been told it’s better and removes the swirls.
On the contrary, a new car should have little or no swirls.
Most of the swirls come from the first wash or wax/polish application
at the dealership. Since we detail the car as opposed to the
dealsership, we virtually eliminate the possibility of swirls
and scratches, therefore, not needing future machine polishing.
Will the dealership mind you working on their lot?
We have a great relationship with most local dealers and they
don’t mind us being there.
What do I do after this detail? Are there steps I can
take to further maintain the appearance you guys worked to achieve?
Absolutely. After the initial detail, maintenance is very easy.
We can recommend a variety of products that will maintain the
appearance of your new car. With our expertise in the industry,
we’re familiar with most products and can guide you to
use your favorite product line or recommend products.
The entire procedure typically takes around 4 - 5 hours (depending on the size of the vehicle being treated) and can usually be completed in either a morning or afternoon, although large luxury cars and 4x4 vehicles may have to remain with us for an hour or two longer in some cases.
