What is tint film?

Our window films are manufactured using only the finest raw materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. Transparent layers of high quality polyester are laminated and coated using special adhesives, ultraviolet inhibitors and protective scratch resistant coatings. Layers of metal are also incorporated into the films to give varying level of reflectivity and different colors.

At Detail Werkz we only stock the finest, professional grade window film with warranty periods ranging from 5 years to lifetime, depending on the film. These are NOT the same as the films available from auto accessory shops for DIY installation. Most DIY films are dyed, this means the color will fade and turn purple. The adhesives on these cheaper films are also of a lower standard and tend to allow the film to bubble or peel.
